How to revise for History?

Revision timetable , with the topics and the focus questions clearly mapped out
Highlighters, post its and all things colourful to keep you focused on your work
Get the past papers out and make bullet point answers for the questions using your class notes and textbook
Create diagrams for topics, again must be linked to the past paper questions
Answer past paper questions under timed conditions - TEST your time management
Use websites only to collect facts/dates/look at sources. NO WIKIPEDIA!

How not to revise for History?

Spending hours 'reading' from the internet is NOT REVISION
Assuming you now the ideas and can 'pad things out' - you can't if you want to achieve more than a 'C' grade, you need specific evidence
